(no subject)
So I've been having Italian tutor everyday for two hours on top of the two U.S. History classes I take. FUN!!!!!!!!!! But I am actually really enjoying Italian and learning a lot, so I'm super excited to go. Howver, there is one thing that makes me equally (yes EQUALLY) excited...HARRY POTTER!!! No, you shall never be as big of a fan as me. I don't care what you say. And I don't feel a need to prove it because I know it's true. I felt like I could relate so much to his feelings in the 5th book, and I cried for weeks when Sirius died, and though I've read it over 20 times since it's release, I still cry whenever they mention his name. I think continuously about the 6th. For most of you, it was I who introduced you to Harry Potter. I was introduced when my mother heard about it randomly (before most people) and bought it for me because I was sick and needed something to do. Well of course I fell in love. I nominated it for BOOK GOBLERS (oh ya!) and even though KAYLA didn't want to read it and thought it sounded stupid she did, and I thik it was one of the only books we all read. So I was enthralled, I even have a first edition copy, since I got into it so early. The other books went like a blur. Well, a very well known blur, since many parts I can rehearse flawlessly. I say blur, only because I can't find a better word to describe the ecstatic experience Harry brought into my life. I've read each book over 20 times, the third one (my favorite) over 50. Sometimes I'll be telling a friend an old story and then have to stop, because I realize it's not my own adventure, but Harry's (ok, that never happened, but I often quote who or make parallels between life and the book). I was the only person to get all the trivia questions right at Holly's Harry Potter party, and there's few facts I don't know, although I will admit there's things I don't know, and everytime I read the book I discover something new (like the last time i read the 5th-5 minutes ago- I found out that firenze makes the light in his classroom dimmer by waving his hand). So like I said, I REALLY believe that no one is more dedicated that I am, and I don't care if you think you are, because I KNOW I am. It's not a matter of how many times you've read the books, it's how you understand them. And I understand them best so there. BUT, just for fun and curiosity I put up so Harry Potter trivia questions (yes, basically they're just for Kayla), answer them as best as you can, they're all things I've been asked recently, so chances are you'll know about half. And, I have a couple questions at the end I'd like your opinion on.
TRIVIA:
1. What company does Uncle Vernon work for and what do they sell?
2. How much does it cost to have the Daily Prophet delivered?
3. What is the name of the weatherman in the beginging of the first book, and what is he reporting?
4. What is it in the 6th book that convinces Harry that he can stop watching the news, since Voldemort was not likely to be mentioned after it?
5. Name two centaurs.
6. What shape do Cho and Hermione's patronuses take and how does Seamus descibe his?
7. Describe Hagrid in full detail.
8. Where does Fleur come to work, why, and who does she work with?
9. What ward is Mr. Weasley placed in when he sustains his injury and what are the names of the healer and the assistant healer AND what does the assistant Healer suggest be done to mend Mr. Weasley?
10. Type a verse from Weasely is our King
