Life is full of pleasant gifts and surprises!
My life is so full right now it's practically bursting at the seams!!
So much has happened, IS happening and is about to happen that it's just amazing :)
New friends, Old friends, Out of town guests, babies being born, new relationships being formed, plans coming together, etc.etc.etc.....
I've been absorbing every ounce of it, living in the moment and I draw so much strength from all the positive energy that flows around us right now.
Spring is not just a season that affects nature but it also affects us spiritually ,physically and mentally as well.
New growth and beauty.
The warmth of the sun after a long cold winter, the intoxicating smells coming from the flowers that have already bloomed, the splashes of color coming up out of the earth, awakening to the symphony created by the birds in the morning is astounding, and it all fills my heart and replenishes my soul!
Everyone is coming out of their homes and into the sun, physically and spiritually.
Quite a few of my flowers have already bloomed. It's nice to pick a bouquet from my own garden and bring some of the beauty from the outdoors in.
Today Britt and I will be working in the vegetable garden.We've created a seperate patch just for the pumpkins and sunflowers. The tomatoes,lettuce, squash, carrots and watermelons will be in another area and the herbs will stay in pots this year.
This afternoon my gorgeous granddaughter is coming over for a visit. I always look forward to that!
My niece will be having her first baby today :) So we'll probaby be going down to the hospital at some point today.
My adopted son Ben is with us this week ,yay! ( just showed up for an unexpected visit) and we have friends from out of town here visiting as well,they're coming by tomorrow night.
We're going to have a housefull tomorrow night as we're having a dinner for friends and family.
Brians back has healed, but we're still going to wait until we get back from our trip back east this month to lay the new countertops and the wood floor.Don't want to risk throwing his back out again right before our vacation. I love that man so much. He's not just my husband ,he's my bestfriend.
I feel like baking muffins today. The big giant sized ones. Maybe poppy and some blueberry ones.
