I'm finally posting something.
So, I've been on Live Journal for awhile, but I haven't done a damn thing to it. I'm not even really sure as to how to use this thing. I have a feeling it's going to be very trial and error.
I've discovered that I am a fan-girl.
It's really quite easy to become one, which, in all honesty, is a little unnerving. I've found myself creating message boards, music videos, and writing fan fictions. And I love it.
The greatest thrill that I've discovered in my fandom loving self is that I love to write...now, I am no means a great writer. But there is just something wonderful and freeing by telling a story or a scenario that you see unfolding in your mind. It's a challenge translating those visions into words that are fitting descriptions. Sometimes it works perfectly and sometimes, more often than not, it's an unmitigated failure.
You just have to try, is all. And so, I'm going to try and put myself out there.
Now, enough about my future as a writer and back to the topic of fandoms.
A fandom. It's really quite powerful. I have found myself becoming a fan-girl for couples and potential couples in tv and movies. Potential couples are the worst, I am afraid. What's going to happen to my little fan-girl heart when the potential is not met???
