So, here is chapter 4! I actually wrote it this weekend but wasn’t fully satisfied with it. But, seeing all of the WONDERFUL support I’ve gotten in response to Chapter 3, I was fueled to finish this bad boy! Thank you, thank you, thank you for reading and reviewing! It really, really helps in motivation!

This chapter is somewhat emotionally ( Read more... )

Last night I read this at ff.net, but I have yet to review there. I'm usually one of those people who can't re-read something I've already read after I've finished it. Even if it's a good story on the Internet, I just can't. I tend to skim over the words, but with this, I just had to re-read. Because, one, there isn't many Mark/Izzie fics out there as awesome & updated as this, & two, because this is now my guilty pleasure.

I totally *squee*'ed. Mark notices how she wears her hair! I know it's only small, but it's just so damn cute! Mark seems like the type of guy who wouldn't remember a THING about someone - let alone a female - but he does with Izzie! Aww. It makes my little Mizzie heart ache with happiness. :)

His lips spread into a Cheshire grin. He couldn't wait to torture her.

I love how you had Mark so MARK! He wasn't the typical nervous guy who would be debating internally whether or not he should approach the girl who laid one on him . . . I didn't expect this. Mark is getting evil ideas in that pretty, pretty, steam-a-licious head of his. I was sort of thinking this chapter would be full of awkwardness, sort of OOC twitchings, & "Sorry I kissed you. I tripped & my lips happened to thud onto yours." You know, you always surprise me with how Mark & Izzie react.

Sloane chuckled as he placed the hot tea at her elbow. “I figured you could use this.”

Izzie eyed the drink suspiciously. “What is it?”

“Green tea, full of antioxidants. Great for hangovers.”

“I take it that this knowledge is coming from experience?”

“Absolutely.”

First of all: *SQUEE* HE BROUGHT HER TEA! Second: This was just . . . BRILLIANT. I don't know why, but this little bit is just amazing.

I love your Izzie. I'm a huge Izzie fan (I used to be a Meredith fan, all before she lost my respect in the S2 finale where she decided to go do McDreamy in the O.R. room.) & I just love how she's all blunt & gets to the point of why McSteamy is bothering her & giving her tea. I'm just so happy that you didn't go for the cliched approach of her being all nervous about "The Kiss", & that she was just so honest & Izzie. You write them so unbelieveably well!

She’s like Satan & you are her devoted minion! She drags you through hell, & yet you still worship at her feet!

This has given me a better perspective on Maddison. I feel it's so true. This line is so Izzie!

“I like to root for the underdog.”

AWWWW!

He walked towards the entrance of the hospital, pausing briefly to look back once more at Izzie Stevens, still rooted in the same spot watching him, before he crossed the threshold, with a hint of a smile gracing his lips.

This line, the last few words, made my Mizzie heart jump with hope. You ended it on such a nice tone. Their argument was absolutely entertaining, & it explained a hell of a lot, but yet it left some questions (that I'm not even sure of at this point in time) but I know they'll be answered soon. I like how they made up; he didn't hold it against her, he didn't push her in front of a car, but he touched her cheek & went all nice!Mark. It's just so beautiful & snowy & bloody perfect.

I also love - love, love, LOVE! - how you bring up events in the past chapters. References, little bits in their conversations, thoughts . . . it just flows so well & Mizzie! To me, their relationship has taken a step to 'friendship', & it's lovely with how it happened. Izzie is Mark's protector of some sorts, & I just love how she's on his side. I love how you've developed their relationship, & how Mark & Izzie have just changed through the past four chapters. I don't know how to explain it, it's just that they haven't stayed in the same position as they were in the beginning.

Damn, woman, you WILL be the death of me. Your writing, as usual, is just unbelieveably addicting, & you never fail to disappoint. You're my favourite Mizzie author, & you're one of my favourite GA writers. XD

(I also friended you back. =])
