you be me for a while
Today was gloriously full of sunshine and fun. There was no piddle rain or rain storm to attack walks outside with baby j and alex and christine.
We got on the street car to go meet Tine downtown and this man sat beside us and was looking at juulia and smiling and talking to himself, or so we thought. really he was speaking some poor dialect of english, but TO US non stop all the way downtown. the only words i made out were "baby", "daughter", "wife", and "jesus". i was luckily sitting by the window so i just looked out pretending to be busily intent on the queen street scene. poor alex was in the aisle seat and kept having to say "ya" and "really" when mumblepants paused his speech. it was awful.
We got lattes once meeting up with tine and lovingly walked to buy shoes. ALex got 2 pairs to my one, which is a record since i am the shoe fiend of the universe. we then went to MAC where somehow i felt i needed stuff and then lots of dollars later left the store. We came home to make grilled cheeses for dinner, and while alex was buying cheese and tine and i were on the street, miss juuls peed in my hand. (i was holding her cupping her bottom) how embarassing.
fonz hunkered down the street to us and then the real party began. or it didn't. ask christine.
we went to see tommy stinson and he is as gloriously dreamy as ever even though he doesn't wear plaid suits anymore like in the replacements days.
and i had 3 whole drinks but after 2 was so tipsy i had to slow down.
lightweight.
it was my first real night out since when i got pregnant. that's excitement.
and for a drunkyish post i've done well.
