Fun weekend...
Last Thursday(Aug. 25th) Don and I went up to Soaring Eagle Casino. When we got there, we checked into our jacccuzi suite and then went and took a look at the spa packages. After walking aroundfor a little bit we went and got in our jaccuzi and relaxed for awhile...which was really really nice! We went out to eat at Lonestar and then went back to the casino to go to the Jessica Simpson concert...it was really funny because she forgot the words to her own songs like 3 times!! She's a really cute performer and I had fun! While we were waiting for the concert to start, Don found a hundred dollar bill...how cool is that? Afterwards we went to gamble. We had a hundred dollars that we brought and a hundred that we found, to gamble with. First Don played blackjack and didn't really win any...then we went and played $20 in the slots...and we actually came out with a little more! Don decided then would be a good time to play Craps(sp?)...and he was right. He started playing with $50 and ended up leaving the table with something like $207! It was cool! He played one more time before we went up to bed and he came out a little up on that game too! I think we ended up leaving with $327! The room was really fun too...we watched a movie and ordered roomservice and used are jaccuzi another time. It was one hell of a one year anniversary present! Thank you baby...I love you!!!
Well...here we are now...back to the real life. We're both working about 40 hours this week which is good for the pocketbook. He's an MIT(manager in training)now...which is awesome! Unfortunatly I am not...but hopefully soon I will be. A week from tuesday I start back at school...but it's not going to be so stressful because I'll only be going from 5pm to 9:30pm Mon-Thur. and 8:30am-4:30 pm on Sat. I'm taking sundays off of work too...so I should have a whole day off everyweek...yay!!!
Well...I have to work today at noon....just until 8 though...which is nice...it sucks to always get out at ten...this is a nice change! Soon I'll be back to working mornings...ugh...getting up early :( Oh well!
