(no subject)
so today was my first day at pathmark. it wasn't so bad. i mean as far as first days go. jen told me it was one of the worst days, i guess cause of 4th of july weekend? but anyway. there are still some things i'm totally effing confused about and i want to be able to know what to do with them the next time i go in. well thats tomorrow so i guess not then. but whatever. i had alot of nice customers, there was ONEEEEEE couple that were soooo horribly mean to me. like, i wasnt even doing anything wrong, they were just mean mean mean people. and they were so mean that the next three customers behind them were all SUPER nice to me bc they saw how mean they were.
one lady grabbed my arm and goes FEEL ME! I'M FREEZING! IT FEELS LIKE WINTER! HAHAHA! like..she wasnt being mean about how high the AC was, i guess she just found it funny that she was so cold.
another guy said HI STEPHANIE (cause of the nametag), WE'RE JOE AND KELLY!
another guy siad "see ya steph" and so i immediately thought i was supposed to know who he was. turns out he also was just reading the name tag. i mean i didnt say anything like OMG DO I KNOW YOU?...i kinda just figured it out.
and i also saw "liz from work" as i like to call her, and lauren dooley, and we were talking and we realized we all worked at the holiday.
sad.
well it wasn't so bad and everyone there is really nice. and so i go back tomorrow for 4 hours which is time-and-a-half, so whatever is half of 6.75, i get 6.75 PLUS that, per hour. then wednesday 4-8 and next saturday 4-8. so my check should be arounddddd 148.50. before taxes. damn the man.

ps- i fucken passed my road test on WEDNESDAY and still haven't driven anywhere yet!!! i'm gonna ask my dad tomorrow to just give me the keys and let me go somewhere.
