SOO
SORE.
just got home from the college getaway/retreat at my youth pastors condo in port st. lucie. it was awesome. we got to go tubing and kneeboarding all day today. (hence why i am so sore) there was only about 15 people who went but only about 3 of us did all the cool stuff. and of course i was one of the 3. me and jon (my youth pastor) went tubing and i killed his foot. it was fun. i am determined to master kneeboarding as hard and painful as it was today.
we talked about our dreams at this retreat and people shared their thoughts about each other. my youth pastor told me that if he has a son he wishes that his son would be just like me. as weird as that sounds, it made me really happy. (he wants his son to be as adventurous as me) another thing that was said was about the fact that i have a certain aura about me that can make people laugh and go crazy, they named it "the bethness"- experience it now! it was so cool to hear everyones dreams and to hear what was being said. it really made this "retreat" so personal.
and finally i also learned that a certain strong man out there was lifting weights when his butt litereally exploded. sheik and i could not handle ourselves after we heard that. i think he's still laughing about it this very moment, wherever he may be- that crazy childrens pastor secretery who is NOT homosexual! (yeah i got his back!)
