I got to be with Kaitlins group todayy, twas frustrating since 6-8 year olds have ADD whether they really do or not. I just sat and made those weave-y ankle bracelets that I do when I'm bored. We watched some odd planetairum show which had nice quiet music, so I took the time to take a short nap, until Justin decided to throw his pen at me. Fun. Aside from a bunch of stuff getting stolen from both rooms and the Vanderbilt being assholes to us, it was a fun day. Julie and Christina just bring infinite hilarity to my life.I didn' have to work at Artisan afterwards, which is good because I'm tired as hell.

It really disheartens me to see McGreevey resigning because he's gay. How god damn bad does that make our country seem, how homophobic, that someone can't be an important political figure just because of sexual orientation. Yeah, he had an affair with a man while he was married, and yeah, if it was with a woman he woul have probably resigned too. But things would get shitty for him if he came out, and stayed in office. But yeah, its stuff like this that reeeeeally makes me want to pull a Johnny Depp and become an ex-patriate because quite frankly, I don't think America is something to be proud of. Bush is a brainless bigot, the whole freedom of speech thing is taken way too far and abused way too much, the god damn fundamentalist christians thinking they own the fucking country so everyone should be forced to live under their shady-ass values. Honestly, who cares if the country was founded on Christian values. That was a million years ago, and now, thanks to the fact that every kind of person imaginable on this earth lives here, not everyone is good and god-fearing. So please tell me why everyone should have to live under their beliefs?
