nothing ventured, nothing gained
I'm getting ready to go back to school. Classes start tomorrow and somehow i have to figure out a way not to die when they start. Since my laptop is broken I may be able to get some actual work done too!
Tonight I am going to finish filling out my national geographic application. Then i'm going to go through my receipts for 2004 (ack!!!). Then go to the gym and figure out a good routine.
I have my internship, 25 credit hours, vwil stuff (life consuming), and i'm struggling to figure out a way to do tennis...i don't think it's gonna happen, not if i'm going to get that 3.5 i'm focused on. Oh shit i still have to finish an exam...ok...i guess i'll go.
Oh yeah, and Rick is coming down to visit this weekend! I'm so excited it's been 4 yrs since I've seen him. After he visits for the weekend he's moving to colorado, which is great, he finally has some direction. (i said i was going at some point right?) He also would just be turning 21 so i'd get to take him to his first bars!
The dog i was complaining about, my grandparent's dog, finally died. They are really torn up about it and were really glad I could make it up for a few of her last days. When i got there she kissed my hand too..and they cried remembering that. That made the trip worth it. The day before i got up there my grandfather's best friend died. This is my mother's dad. Mid-way through last year, Ann (grandfather's wife) lost her father. Ann's brother was also in one of the 9-11 towers. he didn't make it. This couple is so incredibly strong and helped me through so much.
hmm..talk about a wave of emotions through this entry huh... oh yeah i finished watching Napolean Dynamite this morning! That was great! ok really going now...
