I'm in NH visiting the old people. It's freaking cold! I realized about 4 hours into my trip that i forgot my big coat...soo something I would do too. I also forgot socks, and a hat...so I went shopping today! yay! Didn't get a coat, i have enough sweaters where i think i'll just layer up enough i'll be ok.
They're poor dog. She's a german shepherd, 14 years old. Her back legs don't work anymore, when you pet her she's seriously just a bag of bones, yet they refuse to put her down. I don't get it. She's a really sweet dog, but she's not able to use the bathroom by herself, they carry her everywhere. My grandfather fed her a pancake with maple syrup so she would eat this morning. When she's awake she stares at a wall...that can't be living.
Tomorrow I'm going to Boston to visit my aunt. She gets off work around 3:30 so i'll probably leave here around 2:30 so i'm there when she's off work so i don't have to sit uncomfortably with James, her freaky husband. My aunt is pretty cool, kinda gross...they're apartment needed a maid last time I was there, but she loves me and my sister and she never had any children of her own. Last time I stayed with her we spent the day in Boston too, it was a lot of fun.
The drive in the car yesterday was really long...took about 12 hours, luckily i got directions to bypass I95 going through NYC cause I woulda made it there right at 5...rush hour...aghh, so i went about an hour out of the way which probably saved me about 3 hrs of traffic. I also didn't eat in the car,( i get munchies) so i was proud of myself, my blood sugar level also was suffering though cause i was having serious issues concentrating when i finally hit NH. Damn caffeine withdrawals too.
Otherwise, things are good here, this is like my home away from home. Wish I could stay longer because, even though I hate the cold, it's really peaceful up here.
I think i'm gonna go find a book to read...for fun! *gasp*
