whew so i just finished my first week on the job.
i get home around 6 and i'm ready to sleep.
i like it a lot though. i'm basically a receptionist when i'm not proofreading legal documents (this would sound boring to most but it makes me cream my pants). the firm i work for handles aviation disasters, personal injury and pharmaceutical mishaps..there's this woman who's had severe head trauma and she calls about 16 times a day because she has no short term memory saying she needs to speak to a lawyer. it's pretty bizarre.
but yeah, the lawyers for the most part are nice..for lawyers. one of them drives a lamborghini and that gives him the right to be rude..
i work with this guy, steve, and he's probably the nicest person ever. he's like 34 and works in the mail room. he tells me about his musician dreams and it's nice to actually have a non-work related conversation. he sent me to his myspace page, which i got a kick out of.
yep, tonight i'm going to a charity concert with felix. it's for the organization, caritas of austin, that finds housing and jobs for refugees, which is neat.
