That doesn't offend me at all! I am queer and proud, damn it! You were the 3rd person I came out to, Grant was #2. The first person I came out to (other than myself, which was something I did have to do) was this random guy in my 11th grade math class. Wait, is that right? That seems so soon... It was Algebra/Trig II, yeah that was 11th grade, I didn't realize that I had known then. Anyhoo, it was towards the end of the year, and this guy Brandon Paradis and I were kinda friends, and we were talking by passing those graphing calculators back and forth after having written something on them. He had typed: "How far have you made it with a guy? 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th?" Now, he totally had a crush on me, which was becoming awkward, and I didn't want to lie, so I typed back: "None, I'm still on the bench." And he was like, "What, why?!" So I bit the bullet and typed: "I don't like guys. I like girls." And I looked at that screen for an entire minute before I passed it to him, thinking, "this is it, I'm coming out to someone." Then I passed it over, he read it, and then he proceeded to get very giddy. He thought it was the greatest thing ever, surprise surprise. He expressed sorrow for the fact that we could never go out, but congratulated me for being so cool. Ha. Anyways, he promised not to tell anyone, and I think he never did.
