I haven't updated for a while, so I guess I'll let people know what I've been up to (if anyone really care?).
For those of you who don't know yet I have a new pet guinea pig. He's sooooo cute :)! He was an unexpected surprise. Adam and I went to the pet store in Pekin last Thursday to get a fish (I had gotten a couple a month before from Walmart and they died within a week or so, so I figured I'd get some that weren't diseased), but while I was looking around I saw the cutest little guinea pig. I walked around for a little while longer looking at the fish again, but I couldn't get the guinea pig out of my mind. Adam tried to talk to me out of it because he said it'd be expensive and a lot of work, but if any one of you really know me, you'd know once I have my mind set on something, I just have to have it. He was right about the expensive part. After getting the cage, litter, food, water bottle, food, food bowl, and of course him, it came to a little over $80.
I think it's cute, even though Adam tried to talk me out of getting him, he seems to like him. Everytime he comes over here he goes straight to his cage and gets him out. I let Adam name him. His name is Uncle Rico off of Napoleon Dynamite, but we just call him Rico. My Mom was quite surprised when I showed him to her, but she really likes him too. My dad wasn't to happy that I brought him home without even asking, and as he says because we already have too many animals. Just as long as dad doesn't have to see him though, it will be ok.
School is going pretty good. It really sucks having morning classes 5 days a week. That is kicking me in the ass! I should have taken all online classes. I have two of those, and I am doing really good in both. We only have one test grade in my math class, that we haven't gotten back yet, but I'm sure I did awful on it. I've always hated math, and always will hate math. I'm doing good in my Intro to childcare class, and not to bad in my psy. class. We had a test a couple weeks ago, and I thought I had failed it, but I totally pulled it off with a B, and a pretty high one at that. Yay for me! I'm trying so hard to keep myself motivated in school this semester, but it really is getting harder and harder because i truly do hate school.
As for work I am kind of working two jobs. Family Video, which is cool sometimes, and other times really sucks. I am also kinda/sorta working at the YMCA again. I originally told them I would just be a sub for the after school program, but they needed me so I was working everyday for about a month, then they hired someone else, so now I'm back on as a sub. I like being a sub because I like getting to go hang out with the kids every now and then. One of the girls I work with at Eastview though pisses me off. That's a whole different story though. Leah Ann works there this year too, so that makes it better.
Adam and I are doing really good. We have had our fights (that's just normal) but we always pull through them. He is the best thing that could have ever happened in my life. I love him soooo soooooooo much! :) I know it's so mushy. hehe! I know he must really love me to put up with some of my shit sometimes. I can't wait until we really start our lives together.
Well, it's really late, and I have class in the a.m. so off to bed I go.
