So why can't every weekend be just this good?

Ok, so I think this weekend's fun makes up for how hard I've worked all semester.

The party began Thursday. I went out to eat at Cheeseburger in Paradise with Becky. I really like that place. Then, I got a random phone call from my friend Renee who I hadn't seen in far too long considering there's no reason why we shouldn't see each other every day. She invited me to go play in the snow at the NC.

Fantastic idea Renee. I had so much fun. First we just made snow angels there and then I did a 360 on the ice. Who knew I was really a figure skater? I really wasn't dressed to play because I had my nice jacket on and only one layer of clothing, but I didn't care. Then a bunch more people came over and we went to Target to buy sleds and went sledding. My favorite though was the Target cashier...so, um, are you guys going sledding?? No, dude, we're gong ice fishing and we hope they just jump on. Here's your sign.

Sledding was fun and there was even a cop who came buy but he didn't say anything. Then about an hour later, this mall security guy came by and was like, "you kids need to leave. now! i'll call the cops, this is private property!" We all were scared so we ran to the cars...and then we realized, um, yeah, the cops were already here. Oh well.

Then we went back to the NC and had a pajama/underwear/formal dress (i know, funny combo), party where we all cuddled up, talked, had a fire, drank hot chocolate and ate cookies. It was amazing fun. It really made me realize how lucky I am to have such great friends. Oh yeah, and I came home to Mark Murphy in my living room.

Friday was just as fun. I went to the NC for Friday Night Dinner and we ended up telling fortunes. Good times, great fun. I was sad I had to leave to get ready for the rest of my night. I came back and got ready and then started to party with Meg and Sarah. I had to leave to go to the London party which was fabulous by the way. It was so good to see everyone again. It was like being back in the Hiccup. Good times. I really do miss everyone.

Then I came back to my own party and it was a blast. I drank more than I have in a really long time. I was crazy...per usual. I was very impressed with how late I stayed up thought because usually i'm the first one to crash. I lasted until 4 am.! Mark Murphy slept over for the second night in a row.

Then on Saturday I went to lunch with Kristyn (sp?) Loudermilk and dridge at Sunshine. We had a blast and ended up talking for like three hours. We then went to get our masquerade masks and came back to get ready. Then Phil picked me up for formal and we had a blast.

Here's how the bar fight went down. Phil and I got there and ate. Danced a little. I stood up and was like, we should go and look for Austin and Jackie. Then like two seconds later, Jackie and Austin walk on the room. It was like they read our minds. We all danced for a little, and then Phil and I went up to crash Pi Phi's formal. Then a little later they came down to crash ours again. Then, we went up to crash theirs again. Then there was an annoucement for all Pi Phis to get to the busses but we were like, just one more dance. After that I said to Phil, I think we should check on Phi Mu because we should be leaving soon. Sure enough, we get down there and everyone is gone! I grabbed my stuff and ran to the bus! I had a blast.

After I went to midnight mass. It was really good to belt out all the Christmas music. Then we all chatted for awhile before going to Marty's for hot chocolate, brownies, and good times. I didn't leave until 3:45!

That pretty much sums up the weekend..oh, and I got installed as Phi Mu president.

It was an amazingly good time. I think the harder I work, the harder I play. And in an ode to Sarah Aldridge, what you feel is a lot like what you know, and that's a good thing.

Work hard, play hard, pray hard.
