one solitary life
one solitary life
(s)he was born in an obscure village,
the child of a (regular) woman.
(s)he grew up in (clarks summit, east stroudsburg, bushkill, belvidere, new york, tunkanonk, jim thorpe, allentown, palmerton, colorado springs, trinidad)
where (s)he worked (and went to school).
Then for (almost two) years,
(s)he was a (good student of the WORD).
(s)he (had a family at Labor of Love USA and spent alot of time there).
(s)he (wanted to make a difference somehow in her corner of the world).
(s)he (dreamed and hoped for the days when it would happen).
(s)he hasn't written a book (yet or held a public office, but she is learning how to become a good teacher of the WORD and a servant of all).
(s)he (hasn't done many things)
that usually accompany greatness,
(but she is great in my eyes, for i see her in the future).
while (s)he was still a young (wo)man,
the tide of popular opinion turned against (her).
h(er) friends deserted h(er, but that did not stop her).
(s)he was (attacked night and day by the enemy, but that did not stop her).
and (suffered) mockery (at times even at the hands of her loved ones, but that did not stop her).
(though she did not physically carry a cross,
her spirit bore the burden of one).
(on a daily basis, she dies to her flesh).
h(er) enemies gamble (that she will not make it in this world
nor by any means make any difference with her life,
which is the only real thing she owns herself).
when (s)he (completely dies to herself and all her own ambition,
and is buried in the baptism of water
and receives the baptism of fire...
when she resolves in her heart that nothing can stop her
and realizes what her purpose is in this world...
when she fights for the ones she loves
as well as the ones she hates...
when she ascribes to victory
yet embraces humility...
and lays her head to rest each night on her pillow
and can truly say in her heart...
"i have done HIS WILL today...)
(years will) come and go,
and some how (s)he (will know,
she has contributed to mankind
in the simple acts of being like HIM).
(and that her example
and life style modeled the ONE WHO was...
the ONE WHO is...
and the ONE WHO is to come...)
for in all of the human race
and in all the armies that ever marched,
and all the navies that ever sailed,
and all the parliaments that ever sat,
and all the kings that ever reigned,
put together have not affected
the lives of man upon this earth
as powerfully as this "ONE SOLITARY LIFE".
(and yes...
i'm talkin' about you...
it's time to change the world you live in...
