someone broke into my house last night

So someone was in our house last night. I dont know why, or when, or how they got in here. But someone was in here at like 2am. I was getting some face wash from my room and bringing it into my bathroom when I hear foot steps and then I hear the sliding glass door open. I shut the bathroom door cuz I was scared shitless. So after like 5 minutes, I went into the kitchen and saw the the sliding glass door was open. I never leave the back door open. I double check to make sure it's locked like every 5 minutes. So I woke up my mom and asked her if she or Spencer had gotten up and unlocked the door, and she said no. So we checked every room in the house to see if someone was hiding in there. Then I realized that if the door was open, and had been locked before, that meant that someone was in the house, unlocked the door, and ran out. I spent the whole night being scared out of my mind, with a butcher knife within an arms reach.

Things like this scare me so much because in our house in Fairfield, we were robbed. And what made it worse is that we found out that they were in the house when we got home, before we had noticed anything. They were hiding behind the couches and when we went towards the back of the house, they ran out the front door.

Omg, I am so freaked out right now. This scares me more than anything else, because it's happened to me before.

My hand is shaking.
