I have not died. Nor have I crawled into a hole, under a rock, or anywhere else. Well, I may have crawled in to a pit at the hospital.

Life has been busy; worky work is worky. I'm on neuro elective for 2 more days and, well, God bless you folks doing neuro because I'm glad I'm not. I'm doing a 40-day hot yoga challenge, which is both challenging and good for the soul. Last week we went to Nashville with the baby. The baby was amazingly wonderful during the trip, including the airplane ride. I interviewed for a job and they're pretty much creating a spot for me doing a combination of emergency medicine and child abuse (yay!), and we founda place to live. These are all good things. The baby is cruising! And babbling! And doing all kind of crazy things! I can't believe how mobile she is. She's 50% for height, weight, and head circumference, she much prefers table food to bottles so is down to about 3 bottles a day, and she's well above in gross motor skills. I really don't know how we got such an good baby, but we did.

I've also presented my last journal club of residency, I've done 2 more morning reports, and lots of other not-so-fun stuff for work.

So life is busy, but life is good. Next week is huge in the life of parenting. Mike and I are going on vacation. Without the baby. We're going skiing in Breckinridge, and Lily isn't coming! I am both very, very excited about this and very, very nervous. Lily will be with my parents, who are also very excited and very nervous. It's going to be good for all involved. And ski trip!!!!!!!! It's going to be a bit like a second honeymoon. Yay.
