School Days
I'm back at the Dorms and adjusting well. I'm sick from the food, per usual. I'm sick of my room-mate, per usual. I don't want to go to classes, per usual. ...I suppose you get the drift? But, I have gone to my two classes and decided to give you a breakdown.
Nursing Leadership - Seems to be an interesting class to develop. As a RN with a bachelor degree, I am a viable asset to my field in terms of becoming a manager. So, in Leadership, I will develop the skills to become a leader. For clinical, I am even going to be shadowing a nurse manager. That'll either break me or kill me. The only thing that I loathe is the dreaded Public Torture Speaking assignment.
Death and Dying - Posie already said that it's morbid that I'm taking this class, but I think it'll prove beneficial when I'm working at the nursing home. I've seen so many deaths since the summer and I'm afraid that I've become numb to the idea, though death scares the Hell outta me. We're going to be discussing several different topics, so I'm sure it'll be sure to crop up into my conversations.
And, finally, I have a gorgeous new layout from my beloved Posie (
mysoulunfolding). And, next month, she's giving me a Nick banner. But, shh, she don't know that yet. *grin*
