much more music had a bad day today when ctv decided to lay off a ton of the channel's in-house employees.
nick worked at the channel... and so that means now his job is no more too.
ctv canned the in-house production team for the channel and laid everyone off because the economy is so bad.
this is such a bad bad bad day. i am absolutely devastated for him.
i can't imagine being more upset for someone than i am now for him.
i don't get how this happened? and all i can think about is how much it sucks!
he will no longer be getting his apartment in january, either... and all of the furniture... the bed frame, the mattress, the side tables he painted, the desk he recreated, the coffee table he made... it's all just, what, pointless now? he put so much time (not to mention funds) into that stuff and it breaks my heart thinking about how now he won't be able to use it.
just last week i was helping him pick out colours for his apartment... i don't understand how this could happen.
and the economy... i just, i never knew it was this bad.
it's really hard to know what to say when something bad happens to someone you love. nothing feels like the right thing...
