Chapter 1: Accident
A native girl, who was wearing a simple Blouse and Skirt, ran through the corridors as she carried a heavy basket full of foods. Her hair swayed as she fully stop in front of a huge, wide door. She breathe in and out deeply. She looked at the clock and sighed. Good thing she was early this time.

“Ah, good thing I manage to come early. They pissed me every time they ask me to cook for them, then scold me when I'm late. Mga tarantado talaga sila.” She mumbled to herself. Putting down the basket, she opened the door. Bright light welcomed her first. Maria shield her eyes from it and when it disappeared, she took off her hands from her eyes, carried the basket once more, and entered the room. Once she placed the basket into the table, she closed the door. She sighed in relief and sat on her chair. Now, all she have to do is to wait for them.

Minutes passed and there were still no nation in the room. She was getting annoyed and irritated. She doesn't want to wait for a long time. Grumbling and cussing out something under his mouth, she stood up and paced. Then as she paced she noticed another basket.

Her eyebrows raised. “That was strange. I thought I'm the only one who'll bring something.” Because of her curiosity, she opened the basket and saw an unusual food in it. She was pissed. “Putang ina naman oo. Akala ko, ako lang ang magdadala ng pagkain. Bwiset na hinayupak talagang mga taong ito.” she said.

“Ah Philippines, you're early.” she suddenly stood up straight as she heard someone's voice. She turned her head and saw a tall man.

“Eh, Russia? Go-Good day to you.” she greeted the tall nation.

The Russian just smiled at the little nation in front of him. “Can you tell me what were you mumbling about? You were using your own language, da? Can you translate it?” Ivan asked as Maria gulped. It's not a good time to translate those sentences, especially if you're going to translate it in front of an “innocent” person.

“Uhmm...well..it's...” Maria stuttered, don't know how to translate it. He looked at the Russian once again and saw an evil aura lurking out. She was deeply in trouble. Where was her hero when she needed him the most? Nope, she was not pointing to America. Just someone who could change the environment.

“It's?” Ivan asked, innocently. Evil vibes were coming out of him.

“What's this food, anyways?” Maria changed the subject. She could feel somehow that the evil vibes were disappearing

“Ah, that was the food I bought for today.” Ivan smiled.

“Ah, I see.” Maria gulped. Ivan's reaction of course was natural. The native didn't know that the food she cursed earlier was from Ivan. She would be careful next time.

The Russian took out a food from the basket and hand it over to the girl. “It's delicious. Would you like to try it?” The Filipina was skeptical at first. Why was Ivan giving her some of his country's food? It's unusual for him. But if she didn't eat it, evil vibes will appear again. She doesn't have a choice, does she?

“Thank you.” She smiled, then ate the food. It was...somehow...like....tastes....garbage. She want to cry, but she couldn't. What an awful food Russia's cook! Somehow, this taste somehow resemble England's food.

“It's delicious, da?” The Filipina nodded reluctantly..

“Mind if I ask you about the ingredients? How did you make this one? I want make one for myself!” she said, lying.

The Russian smiled at the Filipina, “Sorry Maria-chan, but it's not worth asking for.”

“Oh really. Ne, would you like to try mine? I mean, you gave me one so I'll give you also in return.” she said, waiting for a yes.

“Sure thing. It wouldn't hurt, da?” The girl suddenly became energetic today. Good thing the Russian was not in his bad mood. The girl gave few Pandesal to the Russian. Ivan looked at it for a moment then ate it.

“It's good.” he complimented. The girl smiled at the compliment Ivan gave.

“Thank you very much.” She bowed down. Somehow, she was feeling dizzy. She looked and saw two Ivans in front of her.

“Mr. Ivan, I didn't know you have a twin brother.” she said.

“I don't have a twin brother. What's the problem?” Ivan asked. Philippines was now thinking before she could collapse. Was this a trick? Did Russia poison her? Before her eyes shut down, she notice the basket Ivan was holding.

Arthur's basket. Don't eat this. This is for America only.

Great. It really is England's cook and it has some sort potion in it. She fell down from her knees.

“Ah, I'm sorry. I got the wrong basket.” Ivan apologized. What a lovely day it is. She was poisoned by the stupid British food.

“No, it's alright.” she said softly.

“Are you sure, da?” Ivan asked, like he cared for her. For pete's sake, stop acting like you care!

“Yep, I am.”

“Great!” Ivan proclaimed, smiling. Then the tall nation left the room like nothing was happening. Oh great, he wasn't helping a dizzy woman. Couldn't handle it anymore, she collapsed and dream happily.
