Chapter 1:

UN Headquarters Geneva, Switzerland

World War II was now over. The nations are in peace. Well actually, not all of them. France and England and America were still the same. Fighting something nonsense. It created a huge ruckus again at the world conference. Canada, America’s twin brother, sighed. He would have to endure again the pain the other nations give to him. He was still mistaken as America and Canada’s getting sick of it. Kumajirou, his polar bear, licked his face. Canada hugged the polar bear tightly.

"Thank you, Kumajirou." he said.

The polar bear looked at him, blankly. "Who are you?"

Canada sighed. There was no way that Kumajirou would remember him. "I'm Canada." he said, apologetically.

As usual, Germany would have to stop the ruckus. All of them go back to their seats and keep quiet for a moment.

“We are now here to discuss problems, not to create ruckus.” Germany exclaimed. Silence surrounded the room.

Germany coughed nervously as he looked at every nation. “Today, we are discussing about the corruption in our country. If you have any solutions to this, raise your hand and tell us.” Not surprisingly, America raised his hand.

Germany looked at him skeptically. “America, if this is one of your nonsense opinions, then we’re not going to listen to you.”

“Germany, this is a very good one. Trust me! It’s not a nonsense opinion.” America pleaded. Germany sighed. He was letting America go this time. America, seeing the expression on Germany’s face, stood up proudly.

“My solution for that is if we beg the government to stop corruption, it would be all finish. I won’t accept any denials.”

Japan looked away at America. “I agree.”

Switzerland then slammed the table with his fist. “Again, Japan? You always agree with America.” he said, making the Japanese tremble.

England has this expression on his face. He seemed to be disgusted. “Honestly, how did you even become a nation with that kind of thinking? I do not agree with your solution!”

“I agree with England.” Canada said softly. Again, he was ignored. He cursed the invisibility effect.

“Hmm...Then I don’t agree with both of you.” France joined in.

Then another ruckus was created.

"I shouldn't have let America share his thoughts this time." Germany sighed depressingly. This was the 150th time there was a ruckus at the conference meeting. He doesn't even know why he's not used to it. Another great day.

A native girl with long and wavy black hair and black eyes was walking through the corridors, carrying some foods. As she opened the door, she all saw the nations doing something...fun.

“Aww…they’re having fun. I wish I went here earlier.” she said softly as Canada’s voice. She sighed and served the food. She served the food to all the nations there. Some noticed and thanked her and some simply ignored her.

“Canada and America, here are your foods.”

"Thank you." Canada smiled to the girl. He held the fork and knife and sliced the pancakes. When the food was now in his mouth, he couldn't say anything. It was really delicious. He smiled gratefuly for the girl. She was one good cook to be proud off.

"It was very delicious." Canada said. The girl simply smiled at him in response.

America stopped fighting with France and England as he heard the girl's voice. He dashed to the her side and looked at the dish. Hamburgers, his favorite. America hugged the girl tightly.

“Thank you so much!” he said aloud. The nations were now looking at him.

“America, who is that?” England asked. He and France stopped fighting when they heard America shouting.

“This was my cute little colony that I’m proud of. My comrade as I fought Japan and my good friend as years goes by. People, I introduced Philippines!” he proclaimed, proudly introducing the little girl.

Philippines

Name: Maria Clara Hernandez

Age: 14

Hobbie/s: Anything that can keep her busy (and her siblings especially America happy).

Dislike/s: Anything that revolves and involves around Spain.

A brunette man with green eyes was running through the hallways. He was indeed late for the meeting with other nations though he knows that it was useless. Even so, he has to come.

As he opened the door, he was about to apologize until his eyes gazed to the 14 year old girl. He was speechless. It was a very long time that they hadn’t met each other. Now, they meet again. The two stared at each other.

Then Lovino snapped Spain out. “Antonio, what’s wrong?” he asked.

The brunette shakes his head and smiles at the Italian. “Nothing Lovino, nothing.” he said as he sat down on his chair. He wouldn’t ever thought that he would meet her again. His cute little colony.

‘You’ve grown so much, Maria.’ Antonio thought as the meeting continued.
