Summary: A new student who cannot understand or speak Japanese stumbles upon the Third Music Room. She's nice, yet rude. She may be chirpy always but don't judge a book by it's cover. It's because she has a terrible past.

Chapter 2: New Student

It was a fine day. Birds flew high in the sky and leaves were dancing gracefully.

"Haruhi!" The twins shouted. Haruhi, who was reading a book, didn't bother to look at them.

"What do you want?" She asked. 'Are they going to force me to wear a dress?' She thought as she continued reading the book. For the past few months, Haruhi knows the twins better than anyone else. She could already read their minds. It was a piece of cake to her.

"Can you wear this dress?" Tehy asked chorusedly.

"No." She said bluntly.

"You're no fun." They pouted. Then after few seconds, they grinned evilly.

"You know what to do Kaoru." Hikaru said, smiling.

"Yes, I know Hikaru." Kaoru replied, copying his brother's smile.

"Let's do it!" They chorused. Haruhi looked at them. They were getting noisy and they were distracting her.

"But first..." The twins trailed off. They shove out the yellow fruit from their bags and peeled it. "Let's eat banana!." They proclaimed. Haruhi sweatdropped. After they finished eating, they went to Haruhi and stole the book from hers.

“Hikaru! Kaoru! Give me back my book!” A feminine voice shouted.

Do you know what happened? Haruhi accidentally stepped the banana and she slipped. She forgot the banana.

'Darn rich bastards.' She thought as she stood up from the floor and dusted her uniform.

"That was rude." She said, giving the twins a glare.

Hikaru and Kaoru smiled and shrugged. "It was an accident." Haruhi looked away from the twins and her eye twitched. 'Accident my foot.' She thought. She looked back again from the twins and tried to get the book from them.

"Give me back my book!" She said as she tried, unfortunately, they were too tall for her.

"We don't want to," they chorused.

'Rich bastards.' She thought. Letting out a sigh, she went back to her seat and took out another book form her bag.

"Do whatever you want in that book. It's nothing special anyways." She said with a hint of annoyance.

"You're no fun." They chorused and pouted.

The bell rang and the students went back to their seats. Few minutes later, the teacher came in, carrying his lesson plan. He placed them on the teacher's desk and looked at his students.“Good morning everyone. Today we have a transfer student. Please welcome Sarah Anne Krummen!”

Someone opened the doors and entered the room quietly. The trio was shocked to see the blond girl yesterday.

She looked at the class indifferently. "Hello everyone. My name is Sarah Anne Krummen. Nice to meet you all." She looked at the students with bored eyes. The students were now talking about her.

“Quiet!” The class stopped whispering.

"Before I could finish this introduction, are there any questions? clarifications? violent reactions?" No one even dared to answer.

“For your seat, stay there in Kaoru's side.” She nodded and followed. As she went to her seat, some girls were glaring at her but she ignored them. She sat and stayed quiet.

“Class, it's free time and I hope you welcomed the student with open arms. Goodbye.” He said. As the teacher exited, they all looked at the blond reading a Shakespeare book.

Hikaru stood up and went to her. She snapped the book closed and looked at Hikaru uncaring.

“What do you want?” She asked, giving off a menacing glare.

“Do you have any mood swings?” Hikaru said, grinning evilly. Sarah rolled her eyes, ignored Hikaru and continued reading the book.

Because of too much noise in the class and unable to concentrate on what she's reading, she stood up and exited the room.

“Wait where are you-” Kazukiyo was interrupted.

“I'm going to find some place to read this.” She said, looking at the president. Kazukiyo was scared but gathered his courage to talk to her. “But you might be accused as cutting classes.”

“I'll just say I'm still adapting to the school.” She left the room, not waiting for the president to reply.

Class became noisy. They were mostly talking about her.

“Hey the new student has some nerve. Don't you think?” A girl said, whispering it to her seat mate.

The girl nodded. “Even though she's a new student, she has a nerve to cut classes.” The trio looked at the direction where the blond's direction.

“I wonder what happened to her. She wasn't like that when we met her.” Hikaru and Kaoru said in harmony.

Classes were now finished and you know what that means: It's time for the Host Club to shine!

Now for their theme: Its...animals? Oh well, start it anyways!

A girl placed her tea cup on the shiny table. She looked at the blond wearing a lion costume.

“Tamaki-kun, you look good in that costume.” The blond smiled and rubbed his cheeks on her hand. The girl blushed in ten shades of red.

“Thank you Hime-sama. I might be a dangerous beast roaming in the wild, but for you I'm just a mere tame animal.” He purred.

“Kyaa! Tamaki-sama!” They shouted. It was music to Tamaki's ears hearing girls' happiness.

Two identical Cheshire cats and a dog looked at the sight.

“Tono is really making the girls crazy again.” Hikaru chuckled.

“Yes, he definitely is.” Kaoru smiled.

“I wonder why his ears never bleed.” Haruhi said as her eye twitched.

“Tamaki was used to these things ever since.” Kyouya wearing a wolf costume joined in their conversation.

Haruhi and the twins imagined Tamaki was used to it ever since he was little. They seemed to be disgusted.

Haruhi shook those thoughts away and looked at her seniors wearing a kangaroo suit. They were entertaining some ladies.

“Wah! Am I cute?” A high pitched voice asked.

“Yes you are Hani, but I was wondering why you're not in a bunny costume.” A girl said. The others nodded.

“I want to wear Usa-chan costume, but Kyou-chan and Tama-chan told me I looked cute at this costume.” He began to sniffle and to sulk. “I guess I'm not cute at all.”

“No! You're cute Hani-kun!” They exclaimed, trying to make Hani feel better.

“Thank you!” Hani stopped crying and gave them a smile. The girls blushed and squealed.

Haruhi sighed and looked at the blue sky. 'I wonder when I will get use to it.'

They have finished the club activities. Haruhi immediately went to the changing room because she doesn't want to spend time wearing the cute dog costume. She opened her bag. “What the heck?” She shouted. Something wasn't right. She went back to the host, still wearing her costume.

“Who swapped my clothes into this?” She asked as she showed the blue dress. They knew she was furious and the only one who would swap her clothes is...

They, except for Kyouya, pointed at Tamaki. Tamaki began trembling again. “Otou-san wants you to wear those clothes.” Tamaki backed off, wanting to escape from the auburn girl. Unfortunately, there was no place to hide. “I'm sorry.” He said, pleading to let him go.

“Give me back my clothes!” She exclaimed. Tamaki shrieked in horror.

Again, imagine what happened. Thanks!

All of the Host Club left the room leaving the badly injured blond alone.

“My precious daughter, please forgive me!” Tamaki exclaimed as he tried to stood up.

Haruhi sighed. It was a tiring day. She was about to exit the school when she heard someone playing a violin. The sound was really good and it made her relaxed. She looked for person and at last she found someone playing it on the garden. It was the new student.

Sarah was trying to perfect the piece Ave Maria. She was happy that it gave off a wonderful sound. The wind danced and also the trees. The flowers were blooming beautifully and the birds were chirping cheerfully along with the music. As she stopped playing her violin, she heard someone applauded her.

“Ah, what are you doing here?” She asked.

“I was going to exit the school when suddenly I heard you playing. It was really nice.”

Sarah smiled at the brunette. “Why thank you.” She bowed her head and placed the violin in the case. “I have to go now. My brother will be worried about me.” She said and left Haruhi.

Haruhi was curious about the blond. 'That was strange.'
