Yeah I broke my brother's nose like 2 weeks ago. His whole left side of his face was black and swollen and changing colors. His eye was totally shut.
Why would mild-mannered Brad do that?
Because damnit. He took my clothes and shoes one day to school, and my clothes had my wallet inside 'em. I had to work that day and had no license to drive, and no shoes to work in. well, when I got home, I confronted him about it, and all he did was talk back and get bitchy with ME. Hah. What a looney toon. I was pissed he wouldn't accept any responsibility for it (this ain't the first time he's done this either).
I told him I was ready to fight. But first I had to take my mom to work. When I got back, I just gave him the evil eye. I was staring him down. He was totally rude and wasn't going to admit any fault or say he was sorry for what he did. I told him let's go outside and come get some (cuz my mama didn't want us to fight inside naturally). Instead, he attacked me inside the house. He pushed me really hard, which knocked me back a good foot or three. He is 5'10'' and 165 lbs whereas I am only 5'8'' and 148 lbs. Well, in any case, after he pushed me it was on. I stepped to him and blasted him in the face with a straight right hand. The effect would be noticed later, but in the meantime he charged me and as he took me to the ground I was punching him in the ribs hard as I could. He is experienced in wrestling so I knew if we fought I would have to strike quickly before he could get me on the ground. I did just that with the punch, so when we ended up on the ground he was weakened enough that he could not choke me out (but oh did he try).
After trying to choke me out for 30 secs or so, he got up. After a few not-so-nice words from him and me sayin "Come on outside if you want some more" he went to the room. I went outside to call mom and told her what happened (she wasn't mad because I warned her I would do this, and she also felt it was justified because not only has he been treating other people's things with disrespect, he has been talking very rudely to our mom as well). 10 mins later I would go back into the house and see that his face was already pretty badly swollen. That was the last time I would see his face until a few days later because I went to stay at a friend's house until my brother cooled off (who threatened to stab me in my sleep among other things if I stayed, and he destroyed one wall-panel in the room by busting holes through it in anger after I punched him, and defaced my radio as well). There was blood on my ear and neck from his eye when he was behind me trying to choke me out after I'd punched him.
I came back after a few days and even apologized though I was justified in what I did, because I felt bad that I had messed his face up so bad right before prom. In any case, he still offered no apology but I overlooked that because I was just happy to have some bit of peace. I didn't ask for one anymore because at that point I just wanted peace, as I always had. I've never punched him before until that Friday, and had only been in fights protecting him in the past.
Now he's off to boot-camp and whatever residual attitude he might have will be taken care of by the army...I hope.
