I made the mistake of going to a bookstore a couple of days ago and buying all three Lord of the Rings books because the money deal was excellent. So my already high obsession with Lord of the Rings has doubled to the extreme, therefore leading me to make more icons (that and having nothing to do on school vacation). I know, I did more Merry and Pippin than everyone else again but so what? I heart DM and BB so of course I'm gonna icon them a lot. But I heart the other characters as well so eventually I'll icon them as much. So enjoy. And I'd appreciate hearing more about what you think of these icons, because I experimented with various textures and brushes and I'm curious to how others like it.
edit: By the way, Happy Birthday Robert Sean Leonard (a.k.a. Wilson on House)!!
Notes:
- #'s 2, 4, and 6 are based on a quote from The Office where one of the characters looks at a picture of himself when he was younger and says "Oh young Jim, there is just so much I need to warn you about, and yet tragically, I cannot" and I couldn't help but think those words when I watched some of the older House episodes. I used these three chracters because A) Foreman's become a bit more of an ass than usual and he doesn't rock as much as he did in the first season, B) Cameron went from "sweet, innocent girl who wanted to be taken seriously" to "girl who needs sex so much that she does it on the job" and C) Cuddy was a sexy, fierce woman in the first season who has some authority over House. Though she still rocks now, that authority she had has become non-existant. These are simply for a joke, so if you like the characters, don't take it seriously.
- # 8 is based on David Shore's radio interview where he said that he likes where Chase and Cameron are now, despite the amount of screentime they have, so their amount of screentime will most likely not change (he says he likes where they are now, but I don't because well, we don't see them as much).
- # 67 is based on that youtube video "They're taking the hobbits to Isengard". It's exremely funny, I encourage you to watch it. When you first see it you're all, "WTF?!" but then you end up laughing about it. So yeah...
