6 people for dinner...
If I were to have a dinner with any 6 living people in the world, this would be the list:
-Patti Smith
-Tom Waits
-Conan O'brien
-Tom Green
-Sarah Vowell
-Jim Parsons
This would take place in spring at the botanical gardens here in Fort Worth. There would be a long blanket placed out for us to eat sandwiches. Each of us would have made one and passed it on to the person on there left. I would hope there was no mayo on mine. We would discuss books and influences. Each of us would list our favorite song on a piece of paper. (Later this would be made into my mix CD of the evening.)
I am sure we would find that we are more a like than ever expected. We are all human after all.
