much studying needed.

ok, brief entry, as i have half of my final tomorrow.

in summation, german intensive sucks BUKU balls. i despise it with the firey passion of the fourth level of hell. my teacher is actually very sweet, and a great lady. however, with all of the crap we have to learn and speak, i'm going a little insane. unlike some people in my class, this is definitely NOT the second language that i've learned... and it's quite confusing. the only thing i feel it's been good for are than damn excursions that we take every week, which actually makes us USE our german - every other time, people in the city use english with us, as it makes both of our lives easier and avoids unnecessary hand signals. eh. thank goodness the intensive part will be done with by the end of this week. then i just have a regular german class that tags on to my daily class schedule (which starts feb. 11th - sweet!) yeah, i'm excited about class. am i a dork? not really.. my classes consit of reviewing the philharmonic and opera performances around vienna, touring the city and examining various art and architecture, studying an eastern european perspective on jewish history with a professor from budapest, and getting private lessons with 2 different instructors twice a week. a lot of work? yeah. worth it?... do you have to ask? :)

anyways, i have a beastly final to study for - oral final tomorrow, written final friday. did she tell us anything that it would be on? of course not. that would make too much sense... "study it all!" yeah... great. thanks for the tip.

at least there's a ball at the Hofburg palace thursday night that i'm going to. screw the final friday. whatever i dont know by now, i wont know then, and i want to freaking enjoy myself. woot. i'll include details about the ball in a later entry. :)

wish me luck, and hopefully i'll pass!!!
