life in the travel lane...
so it's been ages since my last update, and i think it's time.
I got into SAI (music fraternity) and ODK (leadership fraternity). all my papers finished, finals were a bitch, but went very well, and the semester finished alright, but sadly with many goodbyes to seniors that I won't be seeing again, as i'm going abroad and they're graduating. i set up almost everything i needed to for my senior recital, and it's ridiculously crazy!!! when i get home from abroad, i'll be a senior.... let's not discuss that fact... I came out academically on top with a CUM GPA of 3.75 and i'm more than pleased about it! :)
mom's surgery was an absolute success and the whole family is thrilled with how well she's doing. otherwise, i despise my family. they drive me insane, mock me, tell me i'm always wrong, and then still expect me to act as their wind-up doll and perform on demand. shoot me in the face. i'm just glad i'll be in austria soon.
Got to see Chelsea and Lily before I came up to NJ - won't see you guys until next summer. it was nice to catch up and discuss lots of things with them. i miss them both so much while away at school. Briefly saw louie, but i don't know what's going to happen there - he and i haven't spoken in so long due to his ex-gf, but who knows what will happen now that he's actually free and can hang out with me. we'll see next summer.
Evan has been such a huge source of strength for me this semester, and i'm so grateful he loves me the way he does. he came to spend the days leading up to christmas with me and my family in New Jersey and it's been incredibly important to me that he's been here. i'm going to miss him more than i can say when i'll be gone.
i 'spose i should go get dressed and mingle with the obnoxious familiy that is my mother's. *sigh* my cousin and brother keep me sane. thank God.
If I don't post in here for Christmas (most likely as there's so much to do), have a very blessed Christmas and enjoy time with loved ones :) i miss all of you terribly, no matter who you are - whether we talk often or not, i've been grateful to know you and hope your holiday is full of love and blesssings!
