home safe & sound
Spain for 12 days was amazing. I mean, it had its rough spots (like falling down a marble staircase and bruising my butt worse than anything anyone on the trip had seen), but i'm glad i went. very good experience meeting musicians from different countires, using my little spanish, and just getting up on a stage and performing. i messed up for the first time during a performance, so i guess i got that stressful experience out of the way, but the again, the duet i sang with Emily was the only piece during the entire festival where anyone got to take a second bow. it was really a once in a lifetime experience and a rush of pride and accomplishment.
now that i'm home, i've been able to rest for a bit to attempt to get over jetlag, and i think i've done a decent job. i ran a few errands yesterday, saw elodie, orli, and lily for a few minutes, and got myself a new pet with Betsy! She's a tiny little hamster (Roborovski Hamster) and i named her Abigail. She's really adorable, and i'm sure there will be pictures of her up at some point.
I start work again soon (if not today), but i'm hoping to see HP5 soon, get HP7, and get a few new things for college and such. mom and i found a ton of new things at bed bath & beyond, but we'll see what happens. i'm excited for college to start up again. i mean, i love my time here in miami, and i dont really want it to end, but it's kind of hard to have your friends spread so far across the country so that you can only spend time with some at a time. gah.
well, i'm off to do lots more work and such. need to do some research and find out my work schedule. have a great day everyone! :)
