I never used to wear cons
cause they emphasized how skinny and long my feet were
It kinda made me feel too grunge for my own good
And on top of everything I liked the extra support under my sole
It might have been because I saw a con commercial when I was 7
The one where everyone is jumping off fences and ceilings and shit
And I always wanted to jump higher and walk on walls
Then when I saw some kid wearing them and he couldn't do anything
I was sway disappointed
It left a bad taste in my mouth
Comfort is really important to me
So are things that give me an edge
And advantage in life
A better chance to get where I'm supposed to be
At the end of the rainbow
Is love and devotion
Smiles for miles
And nothing but support and understanding
