well, although i thought about it, i think comment ficathons are much better to handle. they're just quick and short fic. communities would just take time to create layouts, more rules, etc.

you should definitely participate and request something! thanks for the idea tho. maybe in the future. :)

This is a WONDERFUL idea. Would you mind if your template for this ficathon were used for other fandoms? There can never be too much fic for fierce ladies. ♥

Do you mean, make this one an all anime-fandom fierce lady ficathon or make other ficathons for other fandoms?

The latter. In particular, I was thinking that Sherlock fandom could really use some fierce lady love in a ficathon of its own. I've been intending to make a lady love party post for Sherlock, and upon seeing this I'm now thinking a ficathon would be awesome as well.

I have starry-eyed visions of fierce lady ficathons sweeping through fandoms, empowering female characters everywhere.

I think I'm in love. You should totally do it for the Sherlock fandom.
Everyone should do it for all fandoms.
