Wow, it's almost been a MONTH since my last update and I said I would blog more. LOL!
I've just been really busy working alot lately before I do my makeup placement in the summer. If only I had held in and stick through with my placement, I'd gotten it over with by now. However, I just knew I couldn't have continued on with it feeling the way I felt in that placement. Always feeling so intimidated, nervous and afraid that I would fail. There was just no impossible way I could've made it to the end. Hopefully my summer placement will go smoothly~ At least I know I probably WON'T get sick this time! I've been doing some research every weekend to help me prepare for my summer placement, so hopefully I'll be good!
Anyway, I bought ALOT of things in the past couple of weeks. So let's get on to the pictures!
I ordered a COCOLULU pink overall from
their website using a Japanese shopping service last month and received it in the mail last week.
The backview of the overall.
Cocolulu pink overall featured in the Popteen May issue.
The overall fits rather a big on me in some areas even though I purchased a small. However, it looks super CUTE on and was totally worth the $100! (shipping in Japan is crazy expensive!) I really like how the person from shopping service I used took a picture of the overall to CONFIRM that she has purchased it for me before I pay her for the shipping & handling fees. Also, when she shipped this to me, she included a little "thank you" hand written note and as well as some Japanese sweets and candies for me. (which I ate already so no picture XD) SO SWEET OF HER! I love receiving hand written letters/notes in the mail and especially for things like this. I don't know. But to me it really touches the person that you're not just an online seller who's just looking to do business and make money but you actually DO care to make your customers happy and satisfied with the product they're trying to get. And thank God I didn't have to pay for custom taxes! I'd definitely use her again to purchase stuff from Japan in the future.
YESSTYLE PURCHASES!
I got this
Chiffon Lace Layered Dress from YesStyle.com for my birthday. I wanted something simple but yet girly to wear for my birthday and this is just PERFECT!
Rhinestone Boatneck top from
ZOO @ YesStyle.com. I wanted to get something casual but cute for the summer.
Really cute denim jumper dress that has alot of pockets and I love the zippers detailing.
Skinfood Rice Mask that's suppose to keep your complexion clear and soft, while it also moisturize and whiten your skin for a fairer look. I've read many good reviews online about this mask so I decided to give it a try and it was only $20! Gonna try it out this weekend. =)
I didn't buy this but a friend of mine gave me a box of "My Beauty Diary" masks to try and they are wonderful! My skin feels and looks alot smoother after I use them.
They're also available at YesStyle.com. I just preordered these yesterday! Max Pure Brown circle lenses. I've always wanted to try wearing colour contacts but was afraid to try them in the past because I'm worried that they might actually ruin my eyes. However, I youtubed how to put on and remove contacts and it doesn't seem to look that scary and hard. LOL! I got these with no prescription though because I don't know how often I'd wear these contacts and I don't want my eyes to be adjusted to wearing them that my vision becomes worse without them on. Also, I hardly ever wear my reading glasses even though I'm 200 degree near sighted anyway. I picked the cheapest shipping so they'll take about 21-26 days to arrive. I want to wear these for my birthday so I'm HOPING they'll arrive in time before my birthday! In the mean time while I'm waiting for them to arrive, I need to go buy eye drops and contacts cleaning solution.
I want to do my eye makeup like this model. I already got the false eyelashes for the look. Yes, quite a dramatic look. But I really want to do something special and different for my birthday this year. Plus, life is too short so you gotta try the best of everything, haha.
I talked about this on facebook but I'll mention it here again. I got a phone call yesterday from a HBC person and he said I've been rewarded with a $25 giftcard for being a "valued" customer. I have no idea if this is for my HBC Mastercard he's talking about (which I've only used once) or my HBC reward points card. Half of the time I couldn't even understand him because he kept rambling on and on like he was reading from a script or something. The only thing I understood from him was the $25 giftcard and confirmation of my address so they can mail it to me. I'm still totally clueless why I'm getting this, lol. But he said I should be receiving the giftcard in the mail in the next couple of weeks. YAY! I've been wanting to get a new perfume from The Bay and now with the $25 giftcard, I can at least save money! =D
Oh, I also JOINED TWITTER YESTERDAY! I never actually thought I'd join twitter because if you have me on facebook, then you would know I rarely ever update my status. I'm not much a facebook status fan or a twitter person, but I wanted to use twitter for their twitpic option. lol! Lately I've grown into the habit of taking pictures of just random things that I do and things that I find amusing. I sometimes feel the sudden urge to post a photo of something I find amusing at the moment and share it with people and twitpic gives me the desire to do so. I only wish on facebook that you can update your status with a photo attached to it because I think photos just speak more than words.
My twitter account:

http://twitpic.com/photos/honiidewlicious And I just want to end this post that I'm going to OTTAWA NEXT WEEKEND to look at tulips.
My mom asked me if I wanted to go and we'll be going with a tour bus. I'll also be going with my aunts and few of my cousins. Apparently my mom told me that I've been to Ottawa before when I was younger, but that was over 10 years ago! I don't even remember anything from there, lol. The downside to it is that I have to get up at 4:30AM to go there because the bus pickup is at 6am. O_O And it's going to take a good few hours on the bus to get to Ottawa that I'll probably be there by noon! I'm not even sure if this is even worth the trip but it's been awhile since I've gone on a trip so I'm kind of looking forward to it. I'm kind of sick of my boring working 5 days a week and staying at home on the weekend routine at the moment. So going away outside of Toronto for a day may not be a bad idea afterall. I just don't know what to do on my bus ride there to keep myself entertained other than SLEEP. XD
