Oh, it's fine. It was a misprint on my part (grammar error, sorry) I SHOULD have said

"It's hard to fathom the enigmatic inter-workings of Asian's mind"

fathom : comprehend; to understand something, usually something profound or mystifying

and

enigmatic : hard to understand; difficult to interpret, understand, or explain

So that was a misuse of the parts of speech (not to mention spelling and usage) on my part. =]
