Oh Dean! What have those nasty angels done to you? Watching him pack all his stuff nearly broke me.
Interestingly it's Sam this time around trying to keep the family together and finally admitting running away was a bad idea. Poor Dean is so sure Sam is going to say yes to Lucifer. I know we saw that in The End but you have to wonder how much has been manipulated by Zach. He's desperate for the apocalypse to start after all.
Oddly enough I read a fic recently where it was Lucifer who brought Adam back to life to wear. I had a suspicion that's where they were going when I saw Adam in the 'previouslies' (it's a word!)
It wasn't hard to believe Adam is a Winchester. He's such a mini-Dean. The first scene in Bobby's (who is still awesome btw) was very well done. I could hear both Adam and Dean rolling their eyes when Sam was talking about family.
"So you know you can't trust them, right? You know Sam and Dean Winchester are psychotically, irrationally, erotically codependent on each other, right?"
Zachariah was as fantastic as ever. Kurt Fuller is excellent I'm going to miss his character.
"Cas, not for nothing, but the last person who looked at me like that...I got laid"
I think a lot of people are going to think this line is too much fangirl service but I think it's a very Dean thing to say. He's hurt and tired and wants to give up. He's trying to push people away so they'll leave him alone to do what he thinks is the right thing. In his mind saying yes is the only option left. So he's angry at the fact he's going to die and is lashing out.
Dean and Cas how I love them and pissed off Cas is very hot :D Especially shirtless!Cas.
They did have me worried for a while then the wink! I loved the scene at the end with Sam and Dean. Being an older sibling is a responsibility and you don't want to let your brothers or sisters down. I totally get why Dean felt he had to say yes to Michael.
It will interesting to see what they do with Adam. Is he now Michael's vessel and what happened to Cas????
On a completely superficial note Dean looked good in this episode. I like the black shirt.
