(no subject)
I havent written in a while so its going to be a LONG entry...sorry
So going to CT. with my mom and aunt wasn't terribly bad, keeping in mind that they are like history freaks and want to go to all these museums and historical sights...the first day we went to this guy William Gillette's castle which was actually pretty cool! It was gigantic!! kinda freaky...i dont know, it was cool though. and later that night we went to the beach and just kinda walked around and sat on the jetty (SP?) Then the next day kinda sucked we went to Mystic Seaport. All it was, was a bunch of boats from like the 1800's and a bunch of shop type of things that explained how to make ships, and shops that explained what it was like in the 1800's. It was deffinately boring, and I was bitching about it the whole time...my aunt kinda got mad at me. eh, oh well, sunday made up for the torture of saturday cause we went shopping!!! yeah, that was amazing. the mall had like EVERYTHING at it...fun fun. and my mommy bought me stuff! The hotel that we were staying at wasnt that bad,it was a nice place, but i had to sleep on the pull out couch thing cause there wasn't room for 3 people in the bed, and it wasn't very comfortable. and there was something wrong with the pool/hot tub. their heating thing was broken, so they were a lot colder than they were supposed to, i could have gone to my room and taken a hotter shower. that was crappy, but not too bad. The good thing about the hotel though, was that they had an excercise room thing. i deffinately took advantage of that. saturday night I ran 3.5 Miles! i was proud of myself!! and played around with some of the other equipment, that was sweet.
