Shelley had slept late, warm and cozy under her new comforter in her new bed.  It wasn't as luxurious as her room back in the Playboy Mansion, but it was her new home, and she was going to make the most of it.

The room wasn't as bright and sunny as it normally was this late, but that wasn't as concerning as her nose.  It was numb.  "What the..."  She rubbed it.  "Why is the room so cold?" she asked, glad that no one responded because that would mean someone was in her room and the last thing she needed to deal with right now was a crazy murderer, or worse, a stalker.

She flung back the comforter and sat up with a gasp.  "Sweet balls, it's cold!" she yelled, hopping up and shuffling her way out into the living room to check the thermostat.  She didn't immediately notice the fireplace, smack dab in the middle of a newly painted pink accent wall.  "This is broken!" she yelled out, growing increasingly frustrated with the thermostat that didn't seem to care how hard or furious she was pressing all its buttons.

"DIMITRI!"  She hoped her roommate hadn't left yet.

[For the roommate, but otherwise open if anyone wants to stop by...]
