To everyone who already knows things about where you've applied -- good for you, but I didn't apply anywhere early so suck it

I mailed off my Stanford application today. Maybe I'm a few months behind everyone else, but I don't care, I'm happy.
How could I not be happy when one of my essays was about Shirley Temple Wednesday??
