I know, I know, it's been a while. Well anyway I finished Dreams and Devices by P.D.James. It was taking forever.
I also wanna tell you about the greatest holiday book. Happy Holidays by Janet Daley. There are two stories in it. Heart of the Lonesome and Heart of Stone. It's really great:

BN.COM I was also reading Holiday at the Inn, which inludes like 5 stories by different author. But it's a book for the Christian soul, and I didn't know that when I bought it. Not that I have anything against it, but the first story was really cheesy and so I never read anything else from it.
BN.COM Now I'm catching up with my younger self by reading The Chronicles of Narnia. C.S. Lewis was J.R.R. Tolkien's good friend and fellow writer, so the Narnia stories were developed around the same time as Lord of the Rings. The Narnia stories are just incredible, and beautifully written.
bn.com Cheers.
