I am really happy for Lord of the Rings cast and for Mr. Peter Jackson. They deserve the awards they recieved and more. The work they have done in the past few years is outstanding and no one will ever come close to what they have done. I love everything about Lord of the Rings, from the books to the movies, to how the movies were developed, everything.
For those of you who watched the Academy Awards last night, I hope you enjoyed it, because I certainly did. For those of you who were in the stands, I give you a big round of applause and a jealous glare. For those of you who did not watch it live, you can watch it again, depending where you live or what cable host you have. You can also read the newspapers. They also have it covered.
I do not know if any of you feel the way I do, but I was expecting Johnny Depp to win Best Actors more than I was expecting LotR to win 11 oscars. But alas! He was nominated and that will have to do for now. Although the disappointment kept me up nearly all night. It wasn't Johnny that had me disappointed, obviously; it was and is the Academy. *sigh* But I guess it should still be a privilage that he was nominated I guess. :)
Scroll down (up to where you see the entry titled Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King) and read that entire entry, and then the one above it. That's kinda the order of it.
I hope I have been helpful and next time I will not to rush, I promise.
