...WHAT IF?????
so. this is an incredibly belated entry, but whatever i've always been quite the procrastinator. i know i did a giant and kind of mushy entry at the end of school, but this one's for one group of people in particular. its funny because two years ago i signed up to take an elective because i thought it would be fun, not expecting to take it that seriously. and then that august, i met the single most amazing group of people you will ever meet, and after that i was just hooked. it was the first week of layout on the chronicle.
some of them i already knew, but it brought us a million times closer (so much so that no one could tell me and ashling, who looks nothing like me, apart). some of them i met for the first time and they became some of my favorite people on the face of the planet. and now, the ones who have been there for the past two years -- the ones who tried to cause me bodily harm at layout weekends (cough cough letter), the ones who sang at the top of their lungs and brought all the boys to the yard, or took me to semiformal, the ones who constantly demanded updates on my messed up life and yelled at me when i did something stupid, the ones who were just there for me to talk to whenever -- are leaving and going to college and becoming grown-ups. they're fucking rockstars, pretty much:
it makes me so sad that i can't even really describe it or do justice to the hours and weekends and late nights we spend down in weiler hall together, eating and laughing and crying and mostly just being huge dorks around each other because we're so close that we see everyone's best and worst sides. so instead of trying to describe it completely, i made a collage -- because we all know pictures are worth more than words anyhow, yes?
