Hi. My name is Alexis. I am the Founder of thebentpencil branches. Although we are a fairly new community, we are expecting to be a very sucessful community. You're probably wondering what we are all about. thebentpencil has three branches, which all have to do with writing. The first branch is Journal Reviewing, which I will head myself. The second will be just for writers. Examples of the features that will be offered are weekly assignments, BRAIN Food (which will help writers stay on topic with their pieces, and get help from more experienced writers) and Free Thought, in which the writers will enter their favourite piece of their own writing up for the Free Thought Contest, the winner will win prizes, which may include free livejournal paid accounts, teeshirts, caps, money, etc. The third will be an advice community, which will include help for anyone who needs it, brought by it's members. Once a week there will be tips from Dr. Hambri Marcaddo (Psychologist at LtAc) giving information on various situations, like teenage sex and pregnancy, suicide, date rape, rape, murder, depression, relationships, and you will be able to also fill out a request form. All this might sound good and dandy, but I cannot do it myself and am looking for assistance. Positions open include, but are not limited to:
