Wedding Post Script
Just an addendum to my wedding post here.
I got married on April 1st, that's right, April Fools Day, believe it or not, it really fit for us. However, my brother thought it would be a good time to play an AFD joke on me. I gave him a lecture the night before my wedding letting him know that if he was going to see our mother while he was down visiting he was under no circumstances allowed to mention anything about me getting married again. The first time I got married she guilted me into allowing her to the wedding and then forced her way into my life from then on, I was not about to let it happen again. I have not seen or spoken to her in over 3 years, I don't want her even knowing that I'm dating, let alone getting married. Seth (my brother) decides it's good to say to me right before the wedding "Oh, by the way, Mom's on her way." I wanted to punch him.
In other news of the weird, the ex sent me and my new husband a congratulatory card and money. What ex does that? What makes him think it's kosher to do that. Even more awkward was the fact that my husband was the one who opened said card. I now have to send my ex a thank you note. AAAARRRRRGH.
