War In Iraq & History In the Making

Do you remember being in school, sitting in history class? How seemingly little the information transmitted seemed to matter? How bland it was? Do you remember how little shock the books contained? How little credit went to other countries for their accomplishments if they were not a Western Civilization?

I do. And as time has passed by I have wondered how history books will read when my children go to school. Will they highlight the atrocities? Will they highlight various points of view from this era? Will history classrooms ever receive videos for the classroom  that do not glorify the US? That last question, come to think of it, is like asking if the Nazis in their hayday would show pictures of their heinous activities to its German populace.

As of late, I have been considering compiling articles from the BBC and downloading videos made by US soldiers deployed in the Middle East and saving them. But there are so many videos now, it seems nearly impossible. And how long will this war last?
