Hey... it's been a while since I've written and so I figured that while I would.
Lately neither Dan nor I have been enrolled in classes. Instead I have been working while he has been looking for a job. He was really down about his turning in applications and not getting further than that for a while. When I gave him a booklet I got from AppleOne, giving tips on the process of getting a job -everything from the application to negotiating one's terms- things improved. He started getting interviews. Those for a while, weren't turning out too well as Dan was getting the impression they weren't interested. But after some review, some more advice on how to conduct one's self in an interview, things again improved. I am quite proud of Dan's progress and to help us both out, I bought these two books on MS Office.
These books were written by the same people that wrote the edition I learned MS office from in high school. I hope Dan can learn from them, MS Office as thoroughly as I did. I look forward to refreshing my memory in MS Office when he is done with the books.
I had a temp assignment that was supposed to take me to mid-May and had it extended by another month and a half into the end of June. I am very proud of this and grateful. I am getting exposure to a variety of things -everything from purchase orders and travel approvals to accounting/purchasing.
