My it's been a while..... a long long while

Well things have been kind of crazy around here - it it's not one thing it's another. Between the cats and my husband there never seems to be a shortage of things to do. And with the "abundance" of useless help - life is all the better. I don't know why I continue to believe the "yes - I'll do it" when that sentance was used a few weeks ago and the item that needs attending to is still the same - the only way things change around here is if I do it myself - I've become a big believer in the saying "if you want something done - do it yourself" cause if you hold your breath around here waiting you'll be dead before you know it....lol

I'm just about done in regards to getting all the paperwork in the office organized - and dealt with (or at least for the most part) Been also workign on trying to get my resume updated and submitted as I have found a possible paramedic opening - although with the uncertainty of our future (thank you Navy!) I'm unsure wether attemping to do so would be a good move - but then again what is there to lose.

Other than that we are preping for deployment in the sometime future....which is cause for further dissary and confusion in the household. Oh how life and love are such adventures!

I swore it's been just over a month since I vacationed and I'm in need of another. We went up to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada for about a week and a half stoping in Banff on the way home for a night. It was great to see the family and have them meet my husband for the first time. What's even crazier is we've know eachother for 9 years and he is now just meeting my extened family - mind you it I suppose living in another country is a good excuse for that. All went well - it was great o see my brother and see what he's been up to. One of the best parts is that my family being that they were not in attendance at our wedding (we had a very private wedding with not family) decided that we were still in need of a receiption and that it's another great reason to party (I swear they look for any reason to party! lol) The biggest surprise was that they flew my father and step mom up for it - needless to say why it was one of the best moments of the trip. It's been a long while since my brother, my dad and I have been in the same room, so it was great to have that happen. When I figure out how I'll have to post some picture from our visit to Banff and such as it was absolutely beautiful. It was nice to go but good to get home as well. Now I'm ready for a weeks vacation of doing nothing around the house - although if I did that things might just fall apart.

Well I got to get some dinner on --- post more later....
