:: Asuka is a terrible housekeeper at the best of times, and being confined to a wheelchair with bandaged hands doesn't really count as the best of times, but being stuck in the house gives her weird desire to clean.

She is in the kitchen cursing out the Swiffer WetJet because she cannot figure out how to clean the floor what by all appearance is

Knockedy knock knock! There is a Yohji at the door, and he bears Thai food and flowers.

::opens the door...of course it's you:: Hey. Hope whatever you brought to eat goes well with pizza.

"Most things go well with pizza." He steps inside and offers the takeout boxes to Asuka. The flowers are also for her, but it's safer to give her food first. Probably. "Hey."

She grins as she pops open the take-out boxes. Bitter melons stuffed with minced pork soup, mussels in curry sauce, fried fish with ginger, a spicy beef salad, and grapes and slices of melon. All her favorites.

"Thanks Yohji. Good to see you back." She reaches up to give him a punch on the arm.

Her expression becomes more serious.

"How are things back home? Are they giving you any trouble?"

"They were a little curious, but a liberal dose of the Kudoh charm got them off my back." This grin isn't quite sincere, but it asks that you not request details.

"You making hell for people here?"

The answering look is an apology and promise of much free beer whenever he comes to the Sin.

"Of course."

She doesn't even want to leave the house while people can see her in the wheelchair.

"Oh, brought ya flowers." He grins a little more honestly, and he's clearly ready to duck and/or dodge as he offers them to her.

She grins back and takes the flowers.

"Why?" she asks in an amused tone.

"Oh. You bought 'em for one of your dates and she canceled. That's why you're here."

Yohji fakes an injured look. "I didn't buy them. I arranged those myself." This bouquet? Not the prettiest in the world. He's really not a great florist.

"And I did say I'd drop in once the news reports got some real information. Or did Handsome over there, not pass that on?"

::thinks it's a very nice bouquet, and is impressed you didn't even get an eye-roll for bringing it::

She wouldn't know a pretty bouquet from an ugly one and really wouldn't care.

"He mentioned he gave you his PINpoint. I was telling him what a dumb idea I thought it was to have your wandering around here."

"You wound me. Really. But I'm sure that the ladies of the Nexus will be delighted to have twice the Kudoh to go around."

Beer now. Because beer is needed for the serious stuff. "Confirmed dead are Takatori Masafumi, Kitaura Karen, Yamada Ichiro, and a woman that they still can't identify. And that's all I got, since the news stations are now more interested in the pop star who was caught on film with three guys at a hot spring."

Far as you know, how much interest does Kritiker have in what happened beyond your involvement?

Yohji's lips twitch into something that might be a grimace.

"I'm not sure. They're willing to let me write it off as a rather nasty trip, and let me think that they're terribly disappointed with my judgment. So, the short answer is 'no idea.'"
