Characters: The Train-Gang
Summary: Train compares himself and Saya and thinks about how his relationship with Saya was different than the one with Sven and Eve.

Train never thought he would stay with them for long. Saya had paid the price for just his friendship after all. What he was beginning to feel for these two was different. It was growing stronger everyday. He felt safe with them, and that was logical. After all these two weren't weak.

Eve was asleep in the backseat. Sven drove, eye locked onto the road. Train's fingers itched to lift the eyepatch and see the other, damaged and all-seeing eye. The bell tinkled softly as he shifted. Sven didn't seem to notice.

Sven had bandages all up and down his right arm. Train vividly recalled dressing the wounds himself. He had wanted to finish dressing the wounds and leave instantly after, cursing himself for almost not arriving in time with Eve.

It was getting much more dangerous. No longer were there just normal criminals to catch, there were Creed's mutated band of horrors. Train knew if he left Eve and Sven that they'd be left alone. But he couldn't bring himself to walk out and never come back. He couldn't bring himself to take off the collar. Not this time.

He was tamed. He belonged to them. More importantly they were his. Saya had always been too free for him to truly claim. She was the wild cat. He was a house cat with feral tendancies.

Sven's eye flitted to catch his gaze and his mouth curled up into a smile. "What are you staring for?"

Train only smiled back cattily and looked away.

The bell continued jingling softly as the car drove on.
