Rainbow flows, flaps like waves on clear blue sky, and falls feathery. He sits on the grassy mound, watches dusk turn into quiet night, last dull rays blur and fade. His right hand rests heavily on the damp earth. Fresh green tendrils caress his calloused skin, wrap thin purple veins in just enough sweetness and sighs, he flexes fingers, scratches dark soil (it moans gravely) as plump clouds roll mellow over jutting white peaks. Cotton gust of air washes over him, lifts pale strands of hair in a whirlpool. He clutches fistful of green blades and slowly closes his eyes.
