Akito is definitely a very difficult nut for Saya to crack. He's stubborn, pessimistic, logical, and most of all... he just seems so sad a lot of th etime. Definitely one of the coolest guys in Vatheon, as far as Saya’s concerned. He’s the chill friend that she grabs lunch with sometimes to either break in their heel-wearing abilities or to look for a new place to get some sushi. It helps that he actually has a sense of humor and respects her space. They’ve been talking on and off for a while now, and it’s formed a loose friendship of sorts. He looks out for her and she tries to do the same for him. Not to mention that backstory of his is something that she’s quite interested in. The faker, but Saya's favorite faker in all of Vatheon. Billy is complex, layered, and the ultimate puzzle within the bubble. She's been with him so long but she still does not know who much of an impact she's had on him. Still, Billy is a friend because they can talk about just about anything and joke about whatever. he doesn't pose a lot of questions and for that, she is quite grateful.

More than that, though, she feels something beyond simple friendship - it's actually a bit more of a platonic adoration. He is so like the kids that she used to care for in her youth - and rather like her former self too - that she can't help but be hopelessly attached. She cares for Billy, faults and all, and cares very much for his happiness as a result. A Nobody, supposedly. It’s a strange term that Saya doesn’t completely understand, but from the looks of it, Demyx doesn’t have a heart. Not that she understands that either, because as far as she can tell, he’s one of the most caring people in Vatheon. She’s got a soft spot for the guy because he’s so open and giving most of the time, and he’s yet to show her that he can be anything else. Seeing him happy makes her happy, and seeing him sad makes her sad. As far as someone as kind as Demyx goes, Saya gives everything she’s got in return too.

After the issue with the ghosts, she’s really come to realize how much she can count on him. What she’ll never say is how much she appreciates how he respects her wishes, but still manages to completely understand that she doesn’t want to be alone. Way to go, Demyx.

Still, she considers that part to be rather human of him, considering the fact that he's apparently a demon? Though on some nights, he loses the ears and white hair. Naoya's younger cousin slash brother slash Messiah slash... what are they even? Well, that's only a minor detail because more important than Katsu's relationship with Naoya is Katsu himself. Katsu is an adorable little teenaged boy who Saya does not feel remorse for doting on at all. He's incredibly cute and that's all there is to it.

What Saya understands about Katsu is that he's an average teenager with an abornomal amount of responsibility. Overall, what she wants to do is able to comfort and take care of him. It helps that he's quick and amusing too, so it's quite rarely a dull moment when they talk. On one hand, Saya hates Masamune. He beat her in a fight, he's boistorous, he denies her the things she wants, he makes fun of her, and the biggest offense is that he calls her out when she does sentimental things. It's embarrassing and insulting and there are moments where she would be beyond happy to roughly tackle him to the ground.

But on the other hand, Saya definitely likes Masamune. He's loud, impulsive, leader-like, considerate of the common people, entertaining, and fun to talk to - all qualities that she likes in a person. So she finds herself going to talk to him because it's enjoyable and it kills time. No strings attached since they never talk about anything too deep or uncomfortable (for the most part anyway) and hes' already become one of Saya's favorite people.

They've come a long way but she wouldn't trade it for anything.

The only change is that they've gone from 'temporary partners' to 'permanent partners'.

For all the time they've known each other, it's quite interesitng how incredibly unstable their relationship has been and will likely continue to be. Saya's opinion of Naoya has floundered from acquaintance to informant to ally to where she stands now - a genuine friend, hesitant as she is to admit it. It's taken some time and a lot of issues, but now she knows for sure that Naoya... is her friend.

There's nothing left in her opinion of him except affection, concern, and amusement. She's done being cautious around him, done being afraid of him, done avoiding him, and done denying what she feels. The details elude her, but Naoya has always been good to her and she figures it's about time that she's finally good to him, too. … Matthew’s clone? No, really. She thinks that the similarities between them are uncanny. It’s at the point where listing the things that are different about them would be far easier than all the things that she considers the same. Maybe it’s because he’s got such a familiar personality that she’s warmed up to him more easily and knows how to handle him a bit better.

However the difference between her relationship with Obi is probably that… he isn’t an immediate jerk like Matthew tends to be. Oh, he has his moments that she can point out, but he’s actually a lot nicer to her than her supposed BFF. She owes him a couple times over from the favors he’s done for her- the most notable being the fact that he delivered all her Christmas gifts for her on the Eve of. And… a smaller thing that bothers her is that whatever this acquaintanceship she has with Obi is that… it lacks that protective blanket against awkward moments compared to what she has with Matthew. Because so far, the guy’s managed to catch Saya in a couple tough spots - she apologies for that surprise glomp, really - and she’s actually rather… embarrassed by it.

She disapeared once and Saya found herself in an empty apartment. Though she did come back, it's hard for Saya to take it too easily in stride.

But that hardly means much for daily life. Shirayuki is still her roommate and Saya does adore her. She's girlish and gentle and adorable and everything that Saya is too hardened emotionally to be. Back then, he was someone she would go out to eat with, someone she could talk with, and someone she could banter with. He was her only friend in the world and that meant - and means - more to her than she could ever begin to say.

Since he arrived in Vatheon, very few things changed about their relationship. Even though Train got a personality makeover and she made other friends, Train still occupies a special place in her heart. he's dear to her in a way no one else is and she would do everything she could to make things easier on him - even as he's helping her now. What's not to like? The important part is that remembers that there's still everything to be wary of.

Because you see, she’s convinced that people to be found on rooftops are like her- they have a lot to share. So she’s been continuously talking to him and finding out more and more about his world. There’s a lot of differences thanks to that large gap time-wise. She’s also realizing that maybe there are people in charge that are worth listening to- at least, she’d take orders from Zen more willingly than any other person in high positions that she can think of.

Really though, it may be because a lot of the time, he doesn’t even seem like a prince to her. Princes are supposed to be haughty and snooty, commanding and loud, but… Zen’s a lot more subdued than that. He’s definitely got a good head on his shoulders and the best of intentions. Nodoka was caught in some rather nasty business that ended up with her getting hurt. That alone was enough to catch Saya's attention and then she was on the case shortly after. However, just as with anything else, she wasn't able to remain completely objective to the situation. She got to know Nodoka a bit and ended up seeing a little bit of herself in the girl when they talked over her perplexed and conflicting feelings in the hospital. It was something like talking to her younger self for Saya. But exactly for that reason, Saya knows that Nodoka is a strong girl and can manage just fine on her own. She hopes for nothing for the best for her and... as far as she's concerned, she'll only give Nodoka a little push now and then. The girl can handle herself surprisingly well.

Since then, the girls have gotten rather close and Saya’s seen just how far Nodoka’s kind spirit goes. The other girl’s actions warm her heart and well, she made such a cute kid too! Saya’s little apprentice-of-sorts! Well, not really. Honestly, she’s not teaching him much except for the occasional life lesson here and there. She’ll show off some gun techniques but they’ve yet to get to the point where he actually learns anything- mostly because she doesn’t care enough to bring it up again. After all, the kid already has enough abilities! He can fly for crying out loud. That’s already one-upping her.

But well, he’s still a kid. Falling off buildings? Yeah, she has to go try to save him from himself. There are a few times where she’s genuinely concerned about him, but surprisingly, she trusts Sora to do what’s right and try to avoid danger most of the time. He’s got a really kind heart and makes for a really good friend as they talk through the hard stuff. She thinks that he’d make a great sweeper, what with how he’s always trying to help other people. It’s also really cute as he tries to muddle through morals and what-not. They haven’t talked much during their time, but when they have found the time to chat, Saya’s definitely enjoyed herself. Seeing as Touka’s gotten herself a boyfriend recently? Oh yeah, that’s something Saya can definitely make a conversation out of it.
