if i could only spell french. heck, if i could only sing the french song i've had memorized for two months well two consecutive mornings. but ah well, the competition was fun anyway, hang time for the trio. a.k.a. tork and timmy and their "pimp" me? riight. just nice that we three made it to semi finals, libby too, which is good, especially this year as it was a regional competition. Tim got 4th place, or first honorable mention. interesting experience definetly to sing in a suit hotel room. walk in, piano straight ahead by the window, judges to the left, so turn to face them. now i'm between the piano and the king-sized bed. i'm glad no one came in to watch me. waaay to weird to have people behind the judges plus sitting on the bed. oh my. oo, bears just brought it back to midfield. good job. i guess i'm just a little down cuz it's over. the whole work hard for something, that's also lots of fun, and now it's over, so what do i do? but i'll be out of it by tomorrow, b-ball starting and regular school stuff. madrigal stuff also. but for today i'm kinda letting myself just be mellow.
had a soccer game today too. against GDI. 6 girls from my team showed up plus 6 girls from the other two teams approximately our age. so we had enough to play which is always a plus. I really rather dislike GDI. silly molly breeman. and leslie too. but good luck to them wherever they go to play, as long as it's not against me.
i'm starting to rethink my rejoining the church choir. it's something i should do to be involved and stuff, but i'm not liking singing almost every sunday both services. first service is just toooooo darn early :-) although it's nice to have time after the beginning if second service to come home and do homework. got the first half done then. still have government book reading to do. not too terrible though, so it should be easily dispatched.
*thinks good thoughts to kari* i wish i could have gone to watch. maybe at some point. that would be very nice. i would cheer loudly.
i need to find someone to bake cookies with me this year. any takers? anybody? it's fuuun. hmm, i'm almost to the end of my huge book too, and i want the next two. not sure if i have the funds right now, and i don't know if the library has them. hmm grr, we'll just have to see now won't we? yes precious.
*prepares to attack the government* *sigh* :-) i wanna cookie. i smell them baking upstairs, too bad they're for other people.
